Life Balance

Posted by: junitariany on: January 22, 2012

When you deal with numbers every day, politic keeps your sanity.

-someone I met-

IMO, it is cool. Kindly please distinguish ‘politic’ in this context from mafia bigots that you watch every day on TV.

Testing the water

Posted by: junitariany on: January 22, 2012

Awalnya bingung gue kenapa orang pake istilah ini. Emang kenapa kalau air diperiksa?

Tapi yah I do not care deh istilahnya apaan.

Seengganya dengan notice adanya istilah ini, gue jadi ngeh kalau gue ga boleh testing the water in some cases. Apalagi kalau bikin orang-orang malah jadi labil dan jadi gampang didorong ke jurang #edisibrutal

***

Btw, gue rasa gue boleh bikin idiom seenak jidat, considering the fact that existing idioms juga membingungkan.

Such as, ‘do it Jujun way’. Artinya lo melakukan sesuatu dengan cara yang keren dan asik abis *wakakakak sori mamen, kalau lo protes dengan istilah gue ini, lo simpan dalam hati ajah yahh. Hihihihi* #edisinyebelin

So called ‘competitive edge’…

Posted by: junitariany on: January 22, 2012

… does not turn out to be really competitive.

Government is busy doing stuff to ‘refine investment climate’, or to ‘make Indonesia attractive for foreign investors’, or bla bla bla

And some people, may be lots of them, just know that it is overrated.

Come to imagine those wonderful product you know. Mmm, let’s say Intel.

Intel was not made by low-educated people, eh? Those are smart people, deliver cool products with good quality, desired price, and always available. And those products were only made of silicon which is can be found easily in Indonesia and sold in low price before purification process.

If you think knowledge is expensive, try ignorance. -someone I forget-

Comparing to those world class companies and the ecosystem in which they were created, such ‘instant gratification’ like foreign investment will not significantly raise competitive advantages. Let alone the massive investment towards natural resources extraction, without any significant added-value.

IMO as an industrial player #cailah *wakakakak* *you too pray for me yahh*, government does not address the heart of industrial competitiveness, which is operational excellence. Oftenly, some people, me included sometimes, too much think about external thing. It is becoming not proportional. It is like you deploy incentives, but you do not educate people well. Or you make heavy promotion, but you do not build good infrastructures. Or it is like you are busy asking, without building your own competency.

So? I do not know either. All I am going to do is working for something better. I mean, ‘better’ according to my point of view.

Untunglah demonya gak jadi ada. Atau mungkin ada tapi gak parah. Aduh gak tau deh, gimana kejadian benerannya.

Untung bagiku, malang bagi mereka.

Yahh gitu deh.

#justmaybe Happiness for sale

Posted by: junitariany on: January 20, 2012

Is it real that you cannot achieve happiness in the place where you belong?

Did you ever learn to plant vegetation, raise poultry, fishing, or anything else?

If yes, why on earth you get down to this place?

Where money might be the single standard.

Were you so consumed by the fake Glam you watched on TV?

Shame on you.

Shame on us to build such a failed civilization.

Travel makes a wise man better, Fuller said.

You see many gardens planted by many varieties of plantation. And no such thing like my grass is greener. Simply do not care, because you plant flower.

Awkward Moment

Kemarin malam, waktu lagi melakukan sesuatu, tiba-tiba pikirannya loncat ke satu hal.

My oh my

Culture eats strategy for breakfast.

-someone whom i do not know-

Well said. Hoahm.

You know what, i think our lives are totally tricky. If you do not think so, it can be i am wrong, or you are ignorant, or your journeys are not wild, or my journey are overly wilder, or you are very clever, or i am exaggerated, or… *the list goes on.

Either way, frankly said, several new stuffs for me make me feel wow.

P.S. Wow is a feeling which I can not articulate well.
